to a deployed solder.
2. Help a national park by volunteering hours for various projects, including lecturing and leading tours.
3. Teach low-income parents how to cook nutritiously and economically.
4. Volunteer in schools to inspire students looking for career paths.
5. Join Peace Corps 50+.

Visit a local nursing home, retirement community, assisted living, and talk to the folks there--or bring your talents, arrange a time to visit and play your banjo, teach painting/Spanish/singing, just show a lonely person there that someone cares. Of course the BIGGEST thing people with disabilities/walkers need is TRANSORTATION. Any time you can offer that! Free hand or foot rubs. They are mostly shut-ins, our forgotten fellow Americans.
